Kindly complete the form below to register and safeguard your warranty. This process will document your film and installation in our system, and you and your installer will receive confirmation emails.

    Limited Automotive Warranty

    WARRANTY

    Professionally installed HITEK automotive window films are guaranteed to be free of manufacturer defects such as adhesive failure, bubbling, blistering, cracking, delamination, change-of-color, and fading*. This automotive lifetime limited warranty extends to the Buyer and the coverage is transferable**.

     

    WARRANTY SERVICE

    Upon confirmation of a valid warranty claim, a HITEK warranty service representative will authorize a window film dealer to remove and replace the defective window film. HITEK reserves the right to select and authorize the window film dealer to perform warranty service. HITEK will give the authorized window film dealer an account credit for warranty service compensation. Warranty service credits are limited to the Buyer’s original purchase amount. Credits for partial replacement will be allocated based on the percentage of defective window film removed and replaced.

     

    WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

    This lifetime limited warranty becomes VOID if the installation violates any law or regulation of the state or province in which it was installed or used. ONLY those automotive window films that comply with state or local laws are covered by this warranty. HITEK is not responsible for any loss or damage caused as a result of any illegally installed HITEK window film. Except for the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on these products are expressly limited in duration of this warranty. Some states or provinces provide for implied warranties and with this exception, this warranty is hereby limited. This warranty is exclusive and in place of all other warranties, agreements, and similar obligations of the dealer and/or HITEK concerning the repair and/or replacement of the film. The replacement of the film is the exclusive remedy of the dealer and/or HITEK. In no event shall the HITEK dealer and/or HITEK be responsible for any damage or loss whether indirect or consequential, incidental, special, or directly arising from the use of or inability to use the film. * It is normal for a window film to lighten or fade slightly over time. Fade coverage protects from severe and unusual fading. **To transfer this warranty coverage to a second vehicle owner, see the Warranty Coverage Transfer section at www.HiTekFilms.com.

     

    WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURES

    1. Contact the Installing Dealer to initiate a warranty claim.

    2. If the Installing Dealer is not available, send warranty claim details and your contact information to Contact@HiTekFilms.com.

    3. Warranty claims must be authorized by a HITEK representative before warranty service commencement.

    4. The following papers are required to process a HITEK warranty claim:

        a. Buyer’s HITEK lifetime limited warranty certificate.

        b. Buyer’s invoice from the installing dealer.

     

    KEEP THIS WARRANTY CERTIFICATE, THE INSTALLING DEALER’S INVOICE CARE, AND PRACTICE PROPER MAINTENANCE

     

    To extend the life of your HITEK window film product please adhere to these care and maintenance tips:

     For cleaning, a mild soapy/vinegar and water solution works best.

     Do not use ammonia-based cleaners.

     When cleaning and drying the film, always use soft, non-abrasive materials.

     Follow all other care and maintenance instructions provided to you by your HITEK dealer.

    Residential Product Warranty

    LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

    Professionally installed HITEK brand residential window films are backed by a limited product failure warranty that covers bubbling, cracking, adhesive failure, delamination, and/or demetallization. HITEK Films’ residential window film warranty obligation is limited to the conditions expressly stated within this document.

     

    This HITEK warranty is for residential applications only. The warranty coverage term is determined by the film series selected – see Warranty Coverage Term by Film Series above. The warranty coverage starts on the date the HITEK residential window film is installed and extends to the “Buyer” and is not transferable. Warranty coverage is for interior vertical glass that is professionally installed by a HITEK dealer located in the USA and Canada. HITEK’s warranty liability is limited to the replacement of the product and re-installation labor, for only the window film determined to be defective under this limited product warranty. This HITEK residential window film warranty does not include coverage for any fade-related damage to interior items or furnishings. HITEK provides no warranty that extends beyond that which is described within this document. This is a HITEK residential window film product failure warranty only and does not protect against improper and/or poor installer techniques such as, but not limited to trapped contamination, improper or inaccurate fitting and/or trimming, or any loss or damage caused by cleaning abuse or any non-complying uses of the film. This limited product warranty is made in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied and may give you specific legal rights which can vary from state to state.

     

    IMPORTANT

    • At installation completion, your HITEK dealer will provide tips for cleaning and care. (See HTF Catalog #5220)

    • Any residential installation over 2,000 square feet must be pre-approved in writing by a HITEK warranty department representative.

    • Product installations must adhere to proper film-to-glass installation guidance. (See HTF Catalog #5240)

    • This Limited Product Warranty does not include glass protection coverage for Thermal Shock Fracture (TSF) or Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) seal failure.

    • Depending on the window film selected and the age and condition of the glazing system, glass protection (TSF-IGU) coverage may be available.

     

    WARRANTY CLAIMS

    • To initiate a HITEK window film product failure warranty claim, the “Buyer” must first contact the installing HITEK dealer.

    • If the installing HITEK dealer is not available, the “Buyer” can initiate a claim via email at: Contact@HiTekFilms.com

    • Copies of these 3 documents are required to initiate a HITEK window film product failure warranty claim:

      • HITEK Dealer’s Bill-Of-Sale.

      • HITEK Dealer’s Installation Proposal Form. (See HTF Catalog #5210)

      • HITEK Limited Product Warranty.

    • Upon claim authorization, a HITEK Warranty Department representative will arrange for warranty service per the conditions within this limited product warranty.

    • Warranty service repair will not renew or extend the original term of this warranty.

    Commercial Product Warranty

    LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
