FILM TO GLASS SELECTOR
Find film options for your glass.
A practical starting point for your project or customer consultation. Match your glass to HITEK’s chart, then review the film options with an installer.
Choose your glass and project details to see the chart-based options.
How this tool uses the HITEK chart
The chart describes thermal shock fracture (TSF) and insulated glass unit (IGU) seal-failure warranty categories. A chart match does not establish blanket installation approval, current inventory or a warranty commitment. Review glass, installation side and full warranty terms with HITEK.
“Ceramic Black 70 / 80 / 86” appears in the chart but is not mapped to Ceramic Clear or automotive Ceramic Black here. Security Clear, Security Dyed and Anti-Graffiti are not listed in this chart. Ask HITEK to confirm these products separately.

PLAN YOUR NEXT JOB
From square feet
to the right rolls.
Choose your film, enter the glass area and compare roll quantities. Add window dimensions when you need to check the cut fit.
Your roll plan will appear here, with quantities, sizes and a comparison of the recorded catalog options.
How the estimate works
Square-footage mode divides glass area plus your allowance by a roll’s gross area and rounds up. It does not account for the shape of each pane.
Window-size mode adds your extra cut dimension, groups matching panes into rows across the roll, and packs those rows into whole rolls. Different window groups do not share a row, and offcuts are not reused between groups. The extra allowance is then applied to the planned linear footage. This is a practical, conservative cutting estimate, not an optimized nesting plan.
Options are ranked by fewer rolls to handle, then by the smallest total roll area purchased. This is not a price comparison. Confirm measurements, cutting direction, roll availability and the final order with your installer or HITEK.
